Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- This application form must be completed that is for the very first time applicant. Include the evidence of an address change or other information.

If applicants do not have proof of changing their address, he may certify the form to the following individuals
- Gazetted Officer - Group A
- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
- Gazetted Officer - Group B
- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
- Tehsildar
- Head of Recognized Education Institution
- Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
- Shelter houses/Orphanages that are recognized as shelter houses
- Officer EPFO

UIDAI allows people with Aadhaar cardsto change their address with no need for documents. Aadhaar cardholders are able to alter their address even if they could not prove the proof of identity.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily shut down a vital feature that lets you change your Aadhaar card's address without certificate of address.
UIDAI lets users of Aadhaar cards to change their address and address without any documentation. Aadhaar card holders can alter their address if they agree to the authentication by the verifier of their address. A verifier of address could be a family member, friend or landlord that allows the Aadhaar card owner to make use of their address as proof.
UIDAI has now halted this facility. UIDAI responded to an Aadhaar Card holder by tweeting that the capability to change the address on the Aadhaar Card through an Address Validation Certificate has been ended. UIDAI has requested that the Aadhaar issuer to remind the user that they have the option to update their address by using another accepted PoA document.

UIDAI lists the following documents for you to use as POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that include the name and address for Aadhaar cards

Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
The Credit Card Account Statement (not older than 3 months).
Letter signed by the recipient with a photo of corporate registered on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Travel documents of parents (in instances of minors)
Central/ State Govt. Issued an allotment letter for accommodation. (Not for more than 3 consecutive years.)
Bhamashah Cards/Jan Aadhaar cards issued by Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Of Institution of a recognized shelter home orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
